Social Support Group
About Our Social Support Group
Accent Home Care has been providing a Social Support Group for more than 15 years and caters mainly to clients of non-English speaking backgrounds, living within the wider Knox Community. Our clients are diverse in language and culture which ensures our outings are rich with variety and fun!
The aim of elderly support groups is to provide a relaxed and caring environment for clients to attend outings and excursions that they would ordinarily be unable to attend on their own. The program is designed to accommodate the interests and social needs of the client whilst encouraging independence and interaction.
