Commonwealth Home Support Program
Commonwealth Home Support Programme – Entry-level care
If you need help with just a few tasks, Accent Home Care can provide subsidised support services through the Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP).
This program aims to help those who need a low level of support to keep living independently. Only recommended to those who need one or two services.
Services we can provide include:
Domestic Assistance: Vacuuming and mopping floors, washing dishes, making the bed, cleaning items such as shower, basin, sink and toilet.
Personal Care: Assist with showering and bathing, dressing and undressing, help with toileting, shaving, brushing teeth, and combing hair.
Social Support Group: Community Access with approximately 10 people on our bus to lunch, gardens, shows, public exhibitions and entertainment venues.
Nursing and Clinical Care: Assist with medications, wounds, continence management, stoma care, diabetes support and help after a hospital stay.
All CHSP consumers pay a service fee. Every time a service is provided a fee is paid as a contribution, while the Australian Government pays the majority of the cost of the service. To view our fees please click on the following link: Accent Home Care Fees and Charges CHSP – July 2024
