Accent Home Care is a division of Tabulam and Templer Homes for the Aged (TTHA) who have been supporting older people for over 50 years.
Accent Home Care has a range of services that extend to Home Care Packages (HCP), Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP) and private services.
About the role
In this role, you will provide quality care and support to individuals in their own home, including social support, assistance in the shower and shopping. You will uphold the new Aged Care Standards of consumer choice and dignity at all times.
As a Personal Carer, you will provide excellent customer service, going always the extra mile to make your client’s day. This is a busy but very rewarding role, in which you will be impacting people’s lives in every shift.
During your day, you will always maintain professional boundaries and apply the Privacy and Confidentiality Act. Your knowledge and skills around infection control and manual handling, will assist you to ensure health and safety laws are adhered to.
About you

Your caring nature and strong communication will help you build rapport with your clients and be able to truly listen to their needs.
You are extremely organised and ready to adapt to any changes. Your team and clients can always count on you as you are reliable, flexible and able to commit to a variety of shifts.
To be considered for this role, you MUST have the following relevant experience, skills, knowledge and qualifications:
- Certificate III or above within the health and community services
- Multilingual (desirable)
You’ll also need:
- Current VIC driver’s licence and safe driving record
- Use of own vehicle in sound condition and with comprehensive insurance
- Must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident to apply
- Current Police Check less than 12 months old
